Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost is nipping at your nose! We are busy working away in the 4th quarter and excited for the new year to come and we are still having fun here at Harlo Interactive. Next in our series 'Digital Goodness: 20 Questions' is Danny Decker the Founder and Creative Director of Harlo. Answers below are verbatim, so, enjoy hearing our [sometimes too-real] voices. At least you know they're real.

What’s your favorite ’90s jam?

This is a really hard question to answer because I love 90’s music and there are so many good songs from multiple genres. It's going to have to be Madonna “Vogue”.

In a parallel universe, you are working in a different industry, which industry is it?

I’d be in the comedy business. I appreciate the power of laughter and the positive joy it brings to my life.

Journey’s Greatest Hits, the entire album.

What were you like in high school?

I was friendly, very social and a class clown at times.

What does “win hearts” mean to you?

Winning hearts to me is taking care and pride in the work we create for the people who hire us. If we are not winning the hearts of our clients by helping them win the hearts of their clients, then we have failed our clients and ourselves.

Best lesson your parents ever taught you?

It’s okay to make mistakes, so as long we learn from them.

Your top three favorite characteristics of yourself?

Love, Humor, and Empathy.

I try to play the guitar. However, I consider myself to be more of a vocalist.

What is your favorite color?

Blue... all shades of blue.

What excites you most about digital?

Its continuous evolution and how that evolution shapes and then reshapes how we behave with ourselves and each other. Digital excites me, frustrates me, challenges me and frightens me all at the same time.

How do people usually perceive you when they first meet you?

I’ve found people who meet me for the first time usually immediately enjoy my company or simply find me annoying and I’m completely okay with either outcome. Be yourself, there is nothing more certain and honest than knowing one's true self.

Do you like Sushi?

I love Sushi, love it, love it, love it.

You could live anywhere, where would you move?

I’m living there now, Portland Oregon. I've lived in Portland since 1982 minus my short times spent living in the Bay Area, Eugene, and Alaska. However, if it had to move I'd move to Beaverton... LOL... Just kidding.

You go to jail... What for?

Randomly hugging strangers.

What’s something you do every day you couldn't live without?

Creativity... It fuels every single cell in my body and drives me daily. I cannot live without it, nor would I want to.

What is one thing you would you change about yourself if you could?

Not one single thing!

If a documentary was made about your life, what actor/actress would you want to play you?

Danny Devito or Sylvester Stallone. They are both short, funny, and tough much like me.

What brands do you most admire and how do they influence your work?

There are so many inspiring brands that are pushing boundaries and constantly innovating. I’m inspired by any organization that pushes past the status quo and does everything in their means to stay true to what they believe despite opposing forces and criticism.

The computer.

Go to shoes?
