Speedland, a start-up, hyper-performance footwear/apparel brand located in Portland, Oregon, reached out to us to establish a digital presence for their game changing trail running shoe. Operating in the niche trail running market, they needed help communicating a narrative of innovation, performance, and sustainability. In addition, they needed a simple, yet robust eCommerce platform that would allow customers to purchase with ease.
Speedland started out to accomplish one goal, create the greatest trail running shoe in the world. The SL:PDX is the first of its kind. It is a trail runner with the ability to adapt to its surrounding environment through its design. Featuring a customizable Michelin outsole, removable carbon plate, ultra secure duo BOA LI-2 lacing system, and a Dyneema knit upper, the SL:PDX can go wherever you need it to go with an emphasis on style and durability.

In order to build a digital presence that would help establish Speedland’s brand, Harlo developed a feature-rich eCommerce site powered by the Shopify platform. Emphasizing ease of use, the site provides shoppers with a seamless user experience, intuitive navigation structure, and clear calls-to-action that help minimize checkout friction. The site also provides full CMS control, third-party app integration to allow customer reviews and custom metafields, and delivers customers meaningful content highlighting Speedland’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and performance.
