Content Strategy

Content strategy begins with identifying your brand and audience. Our content creators will work to develop quality website content along with a marketing plan that will move your brand forward.

Your brand is so much more than your product, logo or digital assets. It’s the feeling and emotion when people hear the name of your brand. We can help you build a brand that evokes a specific feeling, not just a set of pragmatic ideas. This emotion compels people to commit to your brand. How do we do this? After we’ve worked with you to discover your brand positioning, and tone and voice, we’ll work on a content strategy that aligns with the lifestyle and knowledge base of your audience.

The basis for all we do is content-first, and when it comes to content strategy for your business that means providing valuable information that allows your target market to learn and gain a knowledge base along with your company.

When you elect to add content marketing services into your business plan, you’re creating a connection that will drive loyalty in your customers that can overcome price, and convenience. We’re a creative digital agency with an open mind and an open process. Learn more about the phases of our content marketing services at Harlo Interactive.

Content Development Process

At the root of any project within a creative digital agency is process. We believe in a tried-and-true process but we also believe in adapting to a client’s needs. We’ve created a roadmap for working with companies in a way that effectively executes a solid content marketing strategy.

Phase 1: Define Goals + Objectives

How can we best work together to reach your goals? Maybe you need help creating those goals? This happens in Phase 1. We review your existing strategy, confirm goals, user experiences, and budgets before we get to the fun part: research.

Phase 2: Research

Once our research phase has commenced we deliver a completed Brand Research Document. To get there we pay close attention to the “Four C’s” approach.

  • Category: Researching the industry, understanding the landscape, evaluating the competition and markets.
  • Company: Understanding your company, your purpose, what you stand for, what makes you different and identifying your short and long-term business goals.
  • Customer: Who is the audience, understanding their persona(s), identifying what intrigues them, what drives their purchasing decisions.
  • Connections: Reviewing the media channels they operate on, how they reach their audience, and discovering new creative ways through research to increase product awareness.

Phase 3: Planning

Planning doesn’t occur without the input of the client. Using the “Four C’s” approach we lay it all out so we can define the most important truths of your brand.

Phase 4: Strategic Roadmap

Next, another gift to you: a Complete Brand Strategy presentation. To create this roadmap for you we review goals and deadlines, key opportunities, and priority marketing channels to identify recommended tactics to reach our previously defined goals.

Phase 5: Creative Brief, Timelines and Proposals for Execution

With the Marketing Platform defined, Harlo will develop a Creative Brief for the specific assets (website, digital/social campaign concepts, etc.) required to communicate the brand’s truths.

Our Approach to Content Strategy

Our goal is to create connections with your target audience on the media platforms most relevant to them. Ensure your brand’s presence on social and digital media platforms is active, authentic and managed effectively, and tied directly to your overarching content marketing strategy.

We’ll create whatever art, photo, video or illustrations that will become social media content, blog content, or website collateral. You select, approve, and/or give feedback, always. We publish each post across all relevant platforms to ensure they are optimized for day/time delivery, and manage the promotion budget behind each post to ensure it reaches our target audience.

Successful Outcomes from Strong Content Strategy

More than reaching your audience, we want to impact followers while growing your business. While providing valuable information that allows your target market to learn and gain a knowledge base along with your company may not be quantifiable—we can ensure other definites. Whatever KPIs, goals, and outcomes we decide upon in the planning phases will be closely monitored through execution. We’ll even deliver official documentation of our successes to add your invaluable stack of deliverables from us.
